In our fourth test, a different five liter gel block was used, with 28,5 cm (11.22 inches) in length and we tried again using four layers of fabric to simulate the effects of heavy clothing. These tests were carried out in 2025, using.380 ACP HP ammunition of the CBC brand fired from a Taurus PT-938 pistol, with a barrel of 94mm (3.7 inches).

The CBC “Silver Point” (EXPO), a 95 gr. jacketed hollow-point, +p, penetrated the block completely (pass through), but with a jacket-core separation after hitting the low tech bullet-stop; The CBC “Gold Hex” (EXPO), a 85 gr. jacketed hollow-point with hexagonal design, +p, stopped inside the gel at the 11 inches mark.
